There will be an IE6 Funeral to be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010, 7:00 pm at Forest Room 5, 2532 15th Street, Denver, CO 80211-3902 (click here for directions). Funeral attire is encouraged.
Internet Explorer Six, resident of the interwebs for over 8 years, died the morning of March 1, 2010 in Mountain View, California, as a result of a workplace injury sustained at the headquarters of Google, Inc. Internet Explorer Six, known to friends and family as “IE6,” is survived by son Internet Explorer Seven, and grand-daughter Internet Explorer Eight.
Goodbye IE6. I first learned HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP using you when I was young and bored with life. I love you, yet at the same time, I also hate you.

Working with IE6 probably shortened my life by a few years, so I’m glad that it’s finally dying. I shall dance at its funeral.

Asa tayo. Mukhang malabo. East-asian countries uses IE too much – e.g. Korea, China (?)
dito nga lang sa bansa natin, yung mga pc shops halos mga IE pa din ang gamit. Never pa ako nakakita ng pc shop na ibang browser ang gamit though alam ko may mangilan ilan jan sa tabi tabi
Sana lahat ng IE versions mamatay na. The world [wide web] will be much better place. LOL
