Last new year’s eve, as I went around blog hopping. As I read George’s Looking Back: 2007, Part 1 post, I stared to think back of my own and wanted to blog about it. But as I think back, I couldn’t think of anything. It makes me think that nothing significant ever happened to me the past year. And that it’s like just another year passing for me.
With this thought, it makes me feel frightened of what would happen to me in the following years. Will I find that something I really wanted to do or I would end up just like most of the people who live their life ordinarily?

Don’t say that, Euri-sama.. the fact that you’re free, you have job, you have this blog means you don’t have to dwell too much on what happened last year. The ones who should look back would be us, your readers. xDD After all, the events in your life that took place last year, even earlier than that are recorded here. ๐

gah same here! I also wanted to do a “look back” thing but I couldn’t think of anything significant or worth sharing… we can always just read our blogs.. and I agree with Nelson…
I did one, kinda crappy actually. What I did was just to type away what came into my head. Like a 5 minute rewind then play in x32 fast forward on a DVD player. HaHaHa.

Lots of significant events have happened last year, but I don’t care since I’m expecting that this year will better. Gotta have a positive outlook in life now; my pessimism might lead to my downfall. ๐
Well, don’t say that Euri. If your last year was really “boring”, let’s just say that 2008 might stack some significant events that you may reminisce when you get older. You’ll find out what you really wanted to do it for all this time. ๐

I think of the same things. And while I do that, the years are passing by. Scary, scary thought! Sometimes I wish time would just stop so I could figure out what I want to do with it first. Are you younger than me? Good if you are coz you need to be different while you still can!
I’m sure you’ll have many fond and happy memories to look back on in future. I guess it depends on how you define significant. Some people may have a lot to look back on because they appreciate or remember even the smallest things while others want the bigger stuff. So just cos someone else can look back and make a list, doesn’t mean you can’t, just your idea of significant events is different ๐ Good luck for 2008 Euri! I hope this year will bring you happiness, prosperity and success.

hmm I can relate to this post. Seems like everyone posted a “looking back” post so I tried to look back and evaluate 2007, and found out that nothing significant happened to me too.
Anyway, may we have more luck this year.
