It was an old song.
Even so, its still beautiful.
Every time you hear it,
Whatever your mood maybe,
It will be filled with sweet sadness.
It’s as if those memories –
Those that faded through the years,
Come crushing back through your mind.
Those enjoyable laughters,
Those bright smiles.
Remembering them
Filled your heart with joy.
It’s as if you’re alive again.
But as it fades,
Above those happy scenes,
The pain still lingers.
It still reigns your heart.
And those laughters and smiles
Fades with the wind.
And that life you had,
Slowly drains away.
It was another night
Of remembering the past.
Another river of tears
In a cold dark night.
It was just another sweet song.
Another melody of sweet pain.
