First, is there such a doctine? Atheism is not a doctrine. I demand to know who posted this! 😆 He/she/it must be corrected. And second, since when did gods became or have absolute morals? Aren’t we a little religiously bias here? Being an Atheist doesn’t mean you have no morals. Sometimes, non-believer have more morals than believers do. Even gods themselves are immoral. Why I say so? Open your eyes and learn to read and comprehend.

The right definition for Atheism is simply, “no god“. Period. 😉

    I have to agree even though I’ m not atheist well I’m not even that religious either. I just don’t know right now. But ye the whole immorality is a bit weird. I really hate though when people associate Atheism with Satanism, that’s two completely different things!

    Oo nga atheism, IMO, is neither a doctrine nor religion. How the hell can it be a religion diba? Hindi ako atheirst, napagkakamalan lang kasi di ako nagsisimba.. Hehe

    Never refer to an ordinary dictionary for philosophical terms.

    Dictionary.com might be defining the term according to how people commonly understand and use the term. Of course this is intolerable when it comes to philosophical discussions.l

    Mmm, yes. That definition does seem a little…err…screwed up. I’m not even atheist but reading that ruffled my feathers. I hate it when people are misinformed. Anyway, maybe I’m being nosy but…I love you and I think we’re good friends despite the distance between us so I wanted to ask….why don’t you believe in the existence of God or a god? I’m just curious so don’t misunderstand my intentions. I was just wondering if there was some turning point that caused your beliefs or has it always been that way for you?

    Most dictionary whose members are mostly theists define atheism as a denial of the existence of a god (Para bang nag se-self denial lang mga atheista no? Hahahaha!) You can find that definition in Webster and other dictionary available in National Bookstore.

    I like the Encarta definition better. It says that atheism is the non belief of a god or gods.
